Each year, Gr. 9 students are encouraged to challenge their mathematical skills by participating in the extra-curricular Pascal Contest from the University of Waterloo.  The contest will be held on Feb. 26 (Learning Commons). Questions are based on curriculum concepts common to all Canadian provinces, with a few questions designed to test mathematical ingenuity and insight. Interested students should pay $2 cash to their Math teacher.  The school will subsidize the remainder of the cost per student.
