First Day of Classes
Welcome back, students! Get ready to embark on an exciting journey as we kick off the first day of classes with enthusiasm and anticipation. Check out the fantastic resources and exciting information below to gear up for an unforgettable academic adventure!
- School doors open to students at 9:00 am.
- The start-of-day times have not changed for 2025-2026, with an entry bell at 9:10 and a start time of 9:15. School end times for Monday-Thursday are 3:45 pm and Friday, 1:14 pm
- Lunch time is from 12:35-1:15 (Monday-Thursday)
- Grade 5-6 students eat in their classroom, monitored by lunchroom supervisors, and followed by outdoor play
- We are an open campus for Grades 7-9, in which they may leave the school over the lunch hour
- Students will learn their schedule and teachers on the first day of school, given that staffing changes are ongoing throughout the summer
- An email with more details will be sent to families a few days in advance of the first day of school

Lunch Supervision
Grade 5 and 6 students will eat in their classroom, monitored by lunchroom supervisors, and followed by outdoor play. Woodman School is an open campus for Grade 7-9 students. More information on our Lunch Supervision page.
Lockers
Get ready, because locker assignments are on the horizon! Your teacher will be your point of contact for securing a locker. Prepare to claim your spot and start the school year off on the right foot.
Merchandise
All Grade 6-9 students are encouraged to purchase a Woodman T-shirt and Gym Shorts. We're thrilled to announce the launch of our very own online clothing store through One Team Apparel. The online store will be open at the end of August.

Transportation
Yellow School Bus Transportation
Our yellow school bus routes are designed over the summer using the addresses submitted before June's pre-registration deadline. Get ready for some exciting journeys!

School Supplies
The following is a suggested list of supplies that students would need throughout the school year. It is not required that students come to school on the first day with all of these items. Families are encouraged to recycle materials from previous years. Those who are unable to bring their own suggested supplies will be provided them by the school. Please ensure that personal supplies are well labelled with the student name and grade.
