Thank you for a great week, Wolf Pack! Next week is setting up to be a big one – it's French Week and Pi Day! We will be having lots of events throughout the week to celebrate French language and culture, with Friday being a celebration of 3.14… It's going to be a blast, and it will come upon us fast!

Parent-Teacher Conferences – Booking Now Open!

Conference bookings are now open through your MyCBE account. Please note that Thursday, March 19 conferences are in-person at Woodman, while Friday, March 20 conferences are online via Microsoft Teams. If you require translator services, please reach out to your child's teacher by email in advance so arrangements can be made.

IPP Signature Pages

IPPs went home this past week. Please sign and return the signature page to your child's teacher. If you would like to request a change to the IPP or have a conversation about it, please reach out to the teacher by email. Please return signed pages next week.

Playoff Volleyball

The volleyball season rolls into the playoffs next week, with our teams looking to claim a division championship! Students wishing to cheer on our teams are reminded that division rules require them to be accompanied by an adult.

Volunteers Needed – French Movie, March 11

As part of Francophone Week, our Grade 5–9 French Immersion students will have the opportunity to see a French movie at the Globe Cinema on Wednesday, March 11. We will be leaving Woodman at 9:45 AM and returning at 12:40 PM.

We are still in need of 2 parent volunteers to join us. You must have current police clearance to participate. If you are available, please contact Mme Breuer at beallsopp@cbe.ab.ca.

TREX Art Exhibit

The TREX exhibit from the Alberta Society of Artists is set up and ready to be explored. Over the next month, Grade 7–9 art students and other classes by teacher request will begin engaging with the exhibit, Reimagining Fire: The Future of Energy. Parents will have an opportunity to view the exhibit at the in-person conferences on Thursday, March 19.
